During his time at a global lift company, Tom Chenna, the CEO of Mainteny, was involved in many projects in the area of service. He realised that many companies have a very high administrative workload and engineers only spend around 20-30% of their working time on the installations. In times of a shortage of skilled labour and high bureaucratic hurdles, this is a real business risk for small and medium-sized companies.

Mainteny was founded in 2020 with the goal of making SMEs more competitive and equipping them for the digital future. With the EXIST start-up grant from the Federal Ministry of Economics, the team received excellent funding to start the company.

Today, Mainteny has customers in 9 countries and offers an industry-leading cloud-based ERP system. Always with the big goal: to strengthen SMEs and avoid centralisation.
